Weekly Links: Currently Clicking #6

(Source)

Here are all of the places I have been clicking around the internet this week.

  1. Eating Whole: 7 Day Meal Plan. This all looks delicious, doable, and good for you.
  2. Now not as healthy, but still delicious...Baked Spring Donuts.  I will always have a thing for sprinkled donuts. Let's not even talk about how many my husband might have brought me home when I was pregnant. The bakery lady knew him by name. Oops.
  3. I've recently been reading her book and it makes me want to have people over for dinner all of the time. Here is a post of hers about Vulnerability and Cats.
  4. I don't know if I could do this. My phone is also my alarm clock but it would probably be very good for me to not spend so much time on Pinterest right before I fall asleep.
  5. I know this is all over the internet, but I love it. The World's Toughest Job....

Happy Friday!

What's In My Bag

I've seen these posts done a million times over the past few years and I'm always intrigued by what people carry with them in their bags. I think you can see what a person's priorities are at times by what they carry with them. This is my "casual-weekend-I'm going thrifting and drinking way to much coffee- bag." I picked the bag up at ARC Thrift Store for a few bucks and it has treated me well. I'm all about bags I can just cram full of stuff and toss over shoulder.

1. Bag: Thrifted from Arc
3. Keys: house, gym card, work, car, etc.
4. My shades. As cheap as they come. Every time I buy expensive sunglasses, I manage to break them or sit on them within a few days.
5. The stupid bracelet I have to wear at work to cover up my wrist tattoo. (Ask me how I feel about that one sometime.)
6. An apple. With my new meal plan, I eat ALL THE TIME. I must always be prepared.
7. My waterbottle. I consume at least 3 a day. Let's just say I flush out toxins a lot.
8. My beloved iPhone. What I did before this, I have no idea.
9. My nerd glasses.
10. My iPad.
11. My grungy wallet. I think it's time for a new one.
12. My Moleskine. I write down everything in here. Each morning I try to spend time writing three pages before I'm off to work. It keeps me sane.
13. These pens. They make my handwriting as legible as it will ever be.
14. Chapstick. Or I just obsessively ask to use my husband's all of the time.
15. My "B" notebook. I write blog ideas, lists, lists, and more lists.

So, what's in your bag?

My Dearest Northwest....

I hope to see you sooner than later.

You have been on my heart these past few days.

My Weekend, As Seen From My Iphone

This weekend was grand. To top it all off....here is a recap, thanks to my new phone. I don't know how I ever lived without it.

The start of a new tradition that has been in the Hollen's for a long time...BLINKO!

I don't know how well you can tell...but this picture is Ryan's car FULL of music gear. Love it.

Ryan and I played a show at the Taproom. I discovered a love for New Belgium's Frambozen Brew. Yum!

I was in Scene Magazine! :) (It's weird to see photos of me pre-tattoo on my shoulder!)

Ordered this book....drank some chai.

Bought this book for 2 bucks.

Ended up getting these shoes after an endless search for the ones from the previous post. These were cheaper. :)

Ate sushi. It had been FAR TOO LONG!

Ryan signed the receipt for the evening with a very large pen.

Went and saw Danielle Ate the Sandwich, our dear friend and amazing songwriter. She's rad.

Drank lovely coffee.

Band practice today with the Rifleman. I will be playing a show with them on the 27th because their keyboard player is out of town. It will be fun!

And last but not least, I finished wrapping all of the presents for Christmas!

Phew. What a good weekend! :)

Merry Christmas to Us!

I don't think words can rightly explain the nerdy excitement in our house this evening. We got IPHONES for Christmas from the parentals. We look like such little nerds downloading this app and figuring this and that out.

I'm in love!

What a good evening this has been!
