Lifeboat Etiquette: Record Release

This past weekend, a wonderful evening came and went. On December 3rd, we released Lifeboat Etiquette's new album at Everyday Joe's. We got to see many people we haven't had the pleasure of seeing in a very long time. We were able to play music that is dear to our hearts and share it with our little town. We were also able to sell an album that we have had our hearts tied to for a very long time. It was a very chilly night but we were very glad to share it with all of you wonderful people.

Sam Hughes opened up the evening. He even let me sing with him.

Everyday Joe's: Bits and Pieces

We became escape artists once again from the real world this past weekend. We awoke early on Saturday morning to head to the bank to figure out how we were to settle the dispute on our bank account (someone got away with taking all of our money; fun stuff) and to try and spend some time together before my husband went to work for the rest of the day.

The Place: Everyday Joe's

My Man :)

This place warms my heart. Our church meets here, we have played countless shows here with countless bands, and our little community of people branch out of this place in one way or another. Sometimes, one just needs a good cappuccino and time spent with another. This was our goal of the morning and we executed it well.

My Weekend, As Seen From My Iphone

This weekend was grand. To top it all off....here is a recap, thanks to my new phone. I don't know how I ever lived without it.

The start of a new tradition that has been in the Hollen's for a long time...BLINKO!

I don't know how well you can tell...but this picture is Ryan's car FULL of music gear. Love it.

Ryan and I played a show at the Taproom. I discovered a love for New Belgium's Frambozen Brew. Yum!

I was in Scene Magazine! :) (It's weird to see photos of me pre-tattoo on my shoulder!)

Ordered this book....drank some chai.

Bought this book for 2 bucks.

Ended up getting these shoes after an endless search for the ones from the previous post. These were cheaper. :)

Ate sushi. It had been FAR TOO LONG!

Ryan signed the receipt for the evening with a very large pen.

Went and saw Danielle Ate the Sandwich, our dear friend and amazing songwriter. She's rad.

Drank lovely coffee.

Band practice today with the Rifleman. I will be playing a show with them on the 27th because their keyboard player is out of town. It will be fun!

And last but not least, I finished wrapping all of the presents for Christmas!

Phew. What a good weekend! :)
