A Thanksgiving Outfit

Ladies and Gentleman, this is me following through on my November goals....an outfit post! On Thanksgiving! I braved the crowds yesterday at Target to finish up some Christmas shopping (I seriously am almost done....so close!) and came home with a new outfit for Thanksgiving. The clearance racks at Target are a weakness of mine.

Boots via Payless. I wear them just about everyday.

Just call me Squinty.

I have so much to be thankful for today. We are preparing to go consume a feast at Ryan's parent's house. My stomach is growling in anticipation. Everyone knows diets don't count on Thanksgiving.

I'm sure more pictures will soon follow.

Happy Thanksgiving.

The Weekender: An Outfit Post

As promised, I have finally gotten around to taking photos for another outfit post. (I'm meeting one of May's goals....) This outfit is one of my weekend staples. I don't get to wear jeans often (I'm in dresses all the time at work), so when the weekend hits, I really just want my jeans.

Sidenote: I tried on three pairs of jeans I've been holding onto since my early college days and successfully buttoned all of them. Success. Even though I'm feeling discouraged and have fat days just like any other lady, buttoning those pants felt pretty darn good. Slow progress.

Anyways...

I got gel nails (by OPI) this friday. I'm hooked. I've played the guitar, cleaned my house, and beat up my nails like usual. They still look great. Hallelujah.
My latest obsession: Rolling my jeans. Why? I don't really need a reason, do I?
You always need a good jumping shot. My husband is a real sport for helping me take these photos. Side note: it was raining that day too.
Outfit Details:
Jeans- Target
Print Shirt- Ross

Boots- Walmart (who knew?)

Fall is in the Air: An Outfit Post

I can feel fall coming. It's seeping into my bones. Scarves, boots, lattes, leaves. My favorite time of year.

In an effort to wear more color (Number Twenty) , I picked up this dress the other day. I've been really attracted to outfits with a lot of print and huge earrings.

Outfit Details:
Dress & Earrings: Charming Charlie's
Shoes: Payless, I think?

Also, I finished my fall garland the other night (Based off of Elsie's garland) . I love how it turned out and it's a perfect fit for our piano.

Check back soon for a new Fall Wreath DIY that I've been working on!

Outfit Post: Eve of 25 Years

Tomorrow, I shall turn 25 years old. A quarter of a century.

I decided an outfit post was in order.

Plaid: An Outfit Post

Good Evening! I want to make outfit posts a normal part of this little blog. You will learn that I have far too many boots for my own good, can't spend a lot of money on much of anything (ever), and would much rather wear something that I bought at Arc for $3 last weekend.

Case and Point: Plaid

Outfit Details:
Dress: Thifted last weekend. I love plaid!
Sweater: Borrowed it from my wonderful mother and she ended up just giving it to me. I seriously wear it ALL THE TIME.
Belt: Forever 21
Leggings: Target
Boots: Steve Madden
Nerd Glasses
Necklace: from a co-worker that was giving away a bunch of jewelry. I just put it on a longer chain.

* Special thanks to my good lookin' husband for taking these photos for me. We just bought a new camera and I'm truly in photography heaven~!
